Our Story

Founded by high school best friends and college roommates, Harold and Russwagen. Jointly, they shared a passion for collecting retro trucker hats while crewing together on the lower rungs of the NASCAR circuit.

Unfortunately, Russwagen wasn't particularly skilled at changing tires, often forgetting a lug nut or two. He flamed out before a short career at the Zaxby's by his mom's house.

Harold lasted longer, manning the crew mess tents making peanut butter and banana sandwiches for often ungrateful and moody crews.

Not surprisingly, both found themselves unemployed during the pandemic. Over a few Natty Lites, they decided to turn their passions into a business, make hats and generally better the world, one crown at a time.

Each hat is lovingly handmade and shipped from Russwagen's basement studio just north of Atlanta, Georgia.
